bonjour mes amis! haven't posted in what seems like forever! how are you all? i'm good. i just got back from the city of love. the fashion and art capital of the world (well in my mind). the place i am going to live in when i grow up. paris. it was just amazing. i've been there before but now i speak french. which just makes the experience better (because now i can order crépes) :D we visited the louvre, the arc du triumphe, the musée d'orsay, and pretty much all the touristy stuff you can think of (just incase you were wondering. yes. we visited the eiffel tower :D ) well it is really late and school is starting tomorrow so i got to go to bed. if you want to see more pictures of france then look here. :D

yes. i have an obsession with all things sparkly and/or shiny. can you blame me? also frills...ok, i admit it, anything flashy and girly catches my eye. anyway. laken's jacket is the cutest thing EVER! super jealousy over it! she got it for christmas i think. also, guess how long it took to do my hair. go ahead. estimate. are you ready? 5 minutes. yes. i'm very proud especially sense i can't even manage to brush it properly in the morning XD

okay i gotta admit: while annika's photos are totally amazing adorable gah (yeah, gah has become an adjective) i honestly think my photos are total poop for this post. so i apologize. not the most interesting as far as mine. i would say more but I HAVE ENGLISH HOMEWORK. grrrrrr.

so far i have a shorts tan and no sunburn! and i have been on the beach everyday for hours. but we didn't get to go kiteboarding today, hopefully we will tomorrow. i am determined to stand up on the board :D my favorite part of this outfit are my sunglasses. they look like john lennen glasses which, in my opinion, kick the other sunglasses butts. OH and Brit was the photographer for this shoot. That also means my camera is fully powered and working! i am so happy. i am the official photo taker for our family vacation again! :D

okay and so these collages are my favorites from 2009. yes, we only blogged for the last 2 months of that year, but we're learning, right? we're so thankful for all the support we've gotten and it's encouraged us to keep going all through next year.

i'm sorry i haven't posted much this break but i promise i will put some pictures of hawaii up soon :D my resolution. hmmm i haven't thought about it. we didn't even stay up till 12 last night. we just went to a luau and that was that. but none the less i need a resolution! hmmm. ok. my resolutions are to excercise more, eat less (i do love my tacos), and to be nicer. :D what are your resolutions? like laken said thankyou thankyou thankyou for the support! we are so happy we have gone this far :D

merry christmas! this dress and my sister's sweatshirt were christmas presents and the camera i took pictures with was too! :D best christmas ever. i also got a vintage 50's prom dress. it's all frilly and lacy and absolutely gorgeous. i just need it to be altered a bit because it's a size 0 and i am not even close to that. ahhh i just love the 50's. they were so proud to have curves. which is the complete opposite of now (where we have to be stick thin). but anyway i love the 50's. if you have time watch The Blob on youtube or House of Wax (the 50's versions), the clothes are amazing and they are so cool. Also, watch Grease. Classic.

sorry for the lack of accessories but i wore sparkly sandals with this dress from Lily Pulitzer. i wore it to the "snowball", which was actually really fun. and today was the last day of exams! woot! i'm so happy. now i have 3 weeks to relax. but anyway i just really like the colour and the flowers on this dress. i'm a sucker for frill :P
