today brit was supposed to leave for college in chicago but her flight was canceled. so now she has to stay with her family. aw. poor poor britski. so that means she can take more beautiful pictures for me!!! kudos to her photography. i don't no what i'm going to do without her when she leaves. "mommy is totally awesome she is the best mom ever. she bought me the camera and my outifts. and the trip to hawaii. and she made me from scratch" - mommy. they are staring me down now. my family is sooo weird.

these were all taken with my mom's canon E05 (which she never uses so i don't see why she doesn't just give it to me!) isn't the quality awesome!? told you i'd get better pictures up soon! haha...okay a few notes about annika's last post: a) isn't it totally teen vogue? b) i'm starting to warm up to those glasses...NOT SAYING I LIKE THEM..just don't completely hate them anymore. haha. c) those last two pictures are so freakin gorgeous it's insane. d) lol christian...ruining the pictures. okay enough of that! so this is my comfy outfit. haha, and yes, it happens to be insanely comfy. i got the snoopy sweatshirt for christmas: isn't it ADORABLE?! i love it. i live in it. you can't blame me right? anywho, still super jealous of annika. super. duper. jealous. happy new year, blogger!

so far i have a shorts tan and no sunburn! and i have been on the beach everyday for hours. but we didn't get to go kiteboarding today, hopefully we will tomorrow. i am determined to stand up on the board :D my favorite part of this outfit are my sunglasses. they look like john lennen glasses which, in my opinion, kick the other sunglasses butts. OH and Brit was the photographer for this shoot. That also means my camera is fully powered and working! i am so happy. i am the official photo taker for our family vacation again! :D

but i won't hesititate no more, no more. this cannot wait.

the family minus our mom. she hurt her leg. aloha from hawaii! my clothes in these few pictures aren't really cool but hey, i'm hiking and horseback riding. i can't really have anything other than a shirt and some shorts and/or jeans. so anyway. we snorkled a bit. when we were snorkleing my brother, who is TERRIFIED of sharks, he wouldn't go into the pool when he was little cause he thought sharks were in it, saw a tiger shark. he FREAKED OUT. but the guys on the boat thought he was pretty cool. we also saw some whales which was pretty amazing. then today we went to Hana and rode horses and hiked and rode a helecopter. if you haven't done any of the above. do it. now. it is so fun and it's an amazing experience. so yes this post isn't really about my clothes but about the experience. if you haven't gone to hawaii. GO. NOW. you will love it. i promise. :)

ps. i haven't gotten sunburned yet! can you believe it? me. whitey mcwhite white in hawaii for about 4 days now! i'm pretty proud of myself but i can't jinx it yet cause i'm going kiteboarding tomorrow :D

okay and so these collages are my favorites from 2009. yes, we only blogged for the last 2 months of that year, but we're learning, right? we're so thankful for all the support we've gotten and it's encouraged us to keep going all through next year.

i'm sorry i haven't posted much this break but i promise i will put some pictures of hawaii up soon :D my resolution. hmmm i haven't thought about it. we didn't even stay up till 12 last night. we just went to a luau and that was that. but none the less i need a resolution! hmmm. ok. my resolutions are to excercise more, eat less (i do love my tacos), and to be nicer. :D what are your resolutions? like laken said thankyou thankyou thankyou for the support! we are so happy we have gone this far :D

merry christmas! this dress and my sister's sweatshirt were christmas presents and the camera i took pictures with was too! :D best christmas ever. i also got a vintage 50's prom dress. it's all frilly and lacy and absolutely gorgeous. i just need it to be altered a bit because it's a size 0 and i am not even close to that. ahhh i just love the 50's. they were so proud to have curves. which is the complete opposite of now (where we have to be stick thin). but anyway i love the 50's. if you have time watch The Blob on youtube or House of Wax (the 50's versions), the clothes are amazing and they are so cool. Also, watch Grease. Classic.

this is a world of dreams, where i felt the stars explode around me

i blew a stormtrooper a kiss and high-fived another (they wouldn't let me go near darth vadar...). one of the stormtroopers gave this to me :D

so two days ago i was on orchard with the twins (matt and mike) and when we were near wheelock place we saw DARTH VADAR and his STORMTROOPERS! i started spazzing immediately. wouldn't you? then the other day i was looking at some pictures of darth vadar and i thought of this fabric. i was inspired. now i'm making my first skirt. it's going to be very simple with a band and then it will flow out. oh. and i'm hand sewing it (i don't own a sewing machine...yet (; )ahhh! i'm so excited! wish me luck :D any tips?
